Don't do it. if you screw up a day, shrug it off. Panicking and being hard on yourself isn't fun, and in the long run fasting will probably do more harm. This has been my experience. I just accept I'm human and get back on the wagon.

I agree with Mike. Dust yourself off and try again

I third that motion. Shrug it off. If you starve yourself, you might binge again.

I see what is being said about fasting. There is lots of research backing the health benefits of fasting and intermittent fasting. Lots! That said, the danger of binging is real. What i do when fasting or intermittent fasting (waiting till supper to eat) is have a healthy meal or snack (usually salad) ready. This way, if I give in, I give in on healthy food. I also find it easier to fast when I know that I have healthy food available if I need It.

our natural circadian rythm is to stop eating before 7pm. my ex and daughter both work out and are struggling to lose weight even so. they tend to eat at 8pm after a workout. too late. body is slowing down, going into fat storage mode. I like to have my last food by 5 pm to get my best results. i'm starting to eat by 530 am. its a struggle for the first week to adjust into but its a lot easier than fasting "days" to do intermittent fasting

if proper fasting interests you search mycircadianclock. they have lots of info and a study app you can download. i'm not affiliated with the study beyond using the app myself. I find the whole fasting, ketone, paleo diet info to be very interesting
