Day 5: Another good day. I had a hard time last night with dinner, as we do not eat meat on Friday. My carb count was 28. This is because I did not plan ahead. I will have to do some advance planning for next week. I'll need to find some non meat or fish low carb recipe.
I had a hard time with the water yesterday as well. Well today is a new day & I will pay more attention.

You're doing great! I peaked at your diet calendar. If anything, you're not eating enough calories many days. Don't sink your battleship by not eating enough and feeling hungry or deprived. Also, learn to look at your average over the month or week. For instance, some days, I eat a bit over my RDI. Most days, I come in at 80 or 90%. Overall, I come in around 95%. You can take a look at my diet calendar to get an idea. I struggle with water, too. I tend to put flavorings in my water. Sometimes, I float a small lemon or lime wedge in the bottle of water. It gives it just enough flavor to encourage me to drink. Keep it up! You're doing great.

Thanks for the cheer! I looked @ your food diary & see what you mean. I have been using drink mix pak's just to get the water down. I'll try the flavoring.

Drink mixes usually have carbs so remember to count them. You are supposed to limit Splenda to three packets a day.

Does anyone have the recipe for Pumpkin MIM'S?

Pumpkin MIM-Muffin in a minute 1/3 cup flax meal* 1/2 teaspoon baking powder 1 packet splenda packet 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 large egg 1 teaspoon butter 2 tablespoons pumpkin Put the dry ingredients in a coffee mug. Stir. Add the egg, pumpkin and the butter. Mix. Microwave 1 minute 25 seconds. Take out. slice, butter, eat
