texasdeb's Journal, 19 May 2010

Well, this is my 5th week weigh in and I've lost a total of 13.5 pounds. Scale this am was soooo close to 175 but not quite there and a little short of 176 so I'm gonna take 175.5 and be happy. I will be on induction 1 more week because I have more to lose (30-35 pounds) to get to my goal weight and I've read that it's ok to stay on Induction until you are 20 pounds from goal as long as you are not bored with the acceptable foods and you continue to lose weight. I won't be anywhere near that last 20 pounds next week and food choices are fine with me but will be moving on to OWL just to shake things up. Besides, I'm ready for a couple of pecans in my MIM.

Total weight lost in 5 weeks: 13.5 pounds

28.40 if using 176pounds (BMI calculator I used didn't take 1/2 pound measurements)

Yesterday, DH told me he'd lost 5 pounds and took up a notch on his belt. He is halfway doing the Atkins...eating what I eat for the most part but still has an occasional potato and still drinks his beer and has two sandwiches at lunch. So, the ANA is helping us both.
