That is a nice loss! I have 1.5 pounds to go to get to my lowest weight which was one week ago today. Slowly but surely.
By the by this weekend is Thanksgiving in Canada. I make the supper for my family- daughter and her fellow, 2 grandkids, sister and her fellow, my father-in-law (87), my husband and myself. My son and his wife aren't nearby so they aren't coming. For the most part I can keep things to a dull roar. There is turkey, bread stuffing, carrots, yams, mashed potatoes and gravy, cranberry sauce and homemade fresh buns from the oven. I also make homemade pecan pie, pumpkin pie and apple pie. The pie and buns are the hardest to not have too much of the rest I can control fairly well. I give the family most of the leftovers so that works too.
The point being that I have worked a week to get the weight gain from last week off and now it is a holiday meal coming up on Sunday. I have to make sure that I don't have to re-lose the same pounds again!
