Lotus's Journal, 15 March 2008

I screwed up, ya'll. I hate so much to admit it. I ate too much snacks at the party, and more junk when I got home. I had a big fight with my husband last nioght and that had a lot to do with it. i am a stress eater, as much as I try not to, it seems to always happen periodically. i am on track today, hopefully one day will not set me back too much. I am very disappointed with myself. It's small consolation when your overweight relatives are telling you, it won't hurt to eat a little more one night. Look what it did to them! I am such an idiot.

You'll recover just fine!! Drink your water, eat good and move it a bit and it'll not even show up!! You can DO IT!

Hey there...I think we all do that-dang temptations...I just have one suggestion that helps me with stress eating-keep cut up veggies in the house in a tupperware bowl. That way when you want something to eat right then and there...you can choose something healthy a quick...it helps me. you look like you are doing great though!

Nah! I think you're gonna be okay. You got so many hurdles you've already jumped over and succeeded. So I know you can beat this one as well. You've help me & others as well so we all know you're a true winner! So keep up the good work Lotus!

I did the same thing last night Lotus and I'm feeling the same way. Join the club!! We can get through this and get back on track. Better days are ahead.

You cannot let one f-up get you down! You have done so well and are looking great! Life is the thing that gets in the way when you are busy making plans- ever heard that? Nobody is perfect and sometimes a fight with someone warrants a night of junk food. It's not the end of the world. Maybe you should try to think of other things to do instead of eat when you get into a fight. A good sweat-producing workout is great for me when I am stressed out of pissed off at somebody. Listen to some loud music and go to town! You will be o.k.

Don't over thing everything. Just do the best you can every day. Don't think about all the bad stuff you ate, just look ahead and demand that you do better for YOU next time:-)

Don't beat yourself up! You're not an idiot, and whilst your relatives might be overweight, they do have a point!! I'm sure you're back on track already - just put it behind you and keep on going! :)

I did the same thing last night too. My 6 year old told me she wanted to live with her daddy!! :( I ate junk until I felt sick!! Why do we do this to ourselves?!?! We'll all get back on track together!! Today is a new day, a low cal day :P

I hope the fight wasn't too horrible and you guys have been able to work it out. Maybe what you could try and do since you know you're a stress eater is be a stress exerciser! When I get mad I go and clean something, but you could do a workout too!
