Granted, I am still struggling with drinking my water. Yesterday, I think I drank 2 glasses? But, boy oh boy...have I been feeling sluggish and groggy. I'm not sure what the deal is. Could lack of water really make that big of a difference in how one feels?
The good news is that I went to the gym after work last night, had a yummy spinach salad with chicken on top for dinner, and found that I dropped another pound. Now, if I can just get that dang water down my throat...
I'm really feeling sluggish today. My eyes feel dry and heavy and I'm having a hard time feeling "happy", but will work on it!
Thank God it's Friday! This will be the first weekend, in 18 months, that my husband will have off! I'm so glad he doesn't have to work weekends anymore! =)

I don't know if water makes that much difference in how you feel but I have a suggestion. Have you ever tried Propel? Not only does it taste better and have no calories, it has vitamins. My doctor told me it was just as good as regular water if not better. It's so good, I'm addicted now and don't like to drink regular water anymore. The only problem is it's a little expensive.

I don't notice that huge of a diff from one day to the next, but I will if it's been a few days, or even one day can give me a headache. Not so sick as you seem to feel though. Try drinking diluted Crystal Light, that's what I drink and I LOVE it. Thinking of you...have a great weekend!

I just realized something! This week 2 things changed for me! 1) I started getting up an hour earlier than before, and 2) It's DAYLIGHT SAVINGS time now! This last Saturday night we had to move our clocks forward an hour. So, my body thinks I'm getting up 2 hours earlier than before even though the clock says it's only an hour earlier! DAH! LOL Do I feel silly! But, I will try your suggestions on the water! I've never heard of Propel! I do like Crystal Light, too! Thanks for the ideas!

You may have hit on it with the change of times. Also for dry eyes, I run a humidifier in the house during the dry winters to keep moisture in the air, it also helps your skin. They have cheap ones at Walmart that don't need filters (hate changing and buying new filters). I got mine for about $30 and it does a large room. about the water: On a recent Oprah show, Dr. Oz said that you can get your water from the foods you eat as well as drinking water. A study seemed to indicate that drinking water didn't make a lot of difference in body chemistry. However, in hot and/or dry climates I KNOW absolutely that water drinking is essential. I think if you have to "force" water down your throat, you might be just as well off drinking things that contain water (that you do enjoy), ice/hot tea, decaf coffee, crystal light and even diet soda (within guidelines). They all contain water... even milk contains water. Good luck to ya!

Hey chicca!! Happy FRIDAY!! =D Ya know what I'm now hooked on?? Dasani has a new vitamin B water, strawberry/Kiwi that I LOVE!! It's on sale at Safeway for 10/$10. YUMMY!! There's 3 flavors, the other I've tried is pomegranate/blackberry, tasty too!! By the way, I took a 2.5 NAP on Monday, and I'm sure it's from daylight savings, not to mention not sleeping really that great. But geeze, I haven't slept like that since I was pregnant!! lol NO, I'm not! ;) Whatcha doing tonight?? =D

I'm not too sure about the forced water thing at all but, congrats on the exercise, salad, and the additional pound. Keep it up!
