Tomorrow starts the 10% challenge. Lose 10% body weight before the Holidays. (I'm calling it Oct 31st). 17 lbs in 9 weeks. 1.9lb/week. It's aggressive. My fitness goal? Run a 10k in 6 weeks on Oct 7th for the Maggie's Place run (raising money for pregnant women running from homelessness or domestic violence). Right now I'm only running about 2.25 miles in 30min....so that's an agressive goal, too. But I don't just want to be lighter, I want to be stronger!
Long term goal? Princess Run Half-Marathon in February, and 140lbs. That's about 6 months from now. baby steps...
