Adef I’m cobsidering a cheat “meal” for Halloween...

you will feel better once you fat adapt again. for some it takes a while after a long cheat session. I am not talking about getting into ketosis I am sure you are back in that, but getting your body back to readily accepting the change back to fat as fuel.

I agree Baskington. I can feel the difference and I was talking to my daughter about that last night. Having a much bigger appetite. She knows I barely eat so she ate my lamb chop I cook the other day so it wouldn’t go to waste ☹️ But I was definitely going to eat it!!! 😔

That looks good! What's this about a Cheat "meal" for Halloween, or did you mean "snacks"? :) Sweets, this time of the year, can undo SO much momentum (metabolism). I think I'll be spending mine (31st) at Longhorn (LOL!).

it definitely is not worth it to cheat for days at least for me, a big cheat day is much less costly and I can afford it now that I am close to my goal, but still it would derail my healing. it is all about choices

@CrashtestDawnie - I understand your desire (need?) for a 'cheat meal'. Mentally I -need- to have a few days in each month where I can eat whatever I want. However, I seem to do ok when I limit it to 1 day in a 7 day period (3-4 days is a 'disaster' that takes weeks to recover from!). However, that is balanced by fasting... however, you take in less carbs (and calories) than I do in a given day when fasting, so there is that...

From371 Longhorn would be a good place for a cheat meal 😁 My family usually throws a pre Halloween scary movie night. Lots and lots of food so saying “meal” is stretching it a bit but yea 1 evening of indulgence 😁 I don’t think it is really worth it though. I’ll have to get back into keto after. Which is annoying. And then there’s thanks giving............. 😰

Adef you think it will take you weeks to recover from your birthday? 😦

I hope you both lose that birthday weight gain faster, I still have one pound to lose ,( almost one month) 😐

😮 that must be so frustrating Keilin!!!! I’m still far enough away from goal that I’m still losing “quickly.” I know it’s going to get dooo much harder on me once I shrink down to your size (if that ever happens... not sure it is meant to be).

In 3-6 months you will your body will not be the same , just keep doing what you do 😀
