I now check my ankles when I weigh in. If they're swollen and I can honestly point to a recent high sodium day, I don't get discouraged by what the scale says. I just drink plenty of water and weigh again in a day or two. I guess you could say I don't take it with a grain of... salt 😄

Yea this weekend I attacked a bag of delicious pretzels. Carbs with a ton of salt. Even though I kept calories within a reasonable level, looks like my body was hoarding water!

I too look back in my log for high sodium days. 3000 mg seems to be my magic number usually. Over and I gain water. Under and I’m normal. (Well Mom always said I’d never be normal haha)
