Yesterday was awful. Work was hectic from the moment I stepped in the door with one issue after the other. My workout buddy told me that she had joined a new gym. Due to a meet-the-new-boss lunch meeting, I wasn’t able to get to the gym; followed by getting off work late. When I finally got home, my hubby & I went to pick up Vann from softball practice. (Thankfully, he was home and able to take her.) She was sitting on the bench when we got there. A ball had hit her on the thumb during batting practice. It was swollen but not broken. At that point, working out wasn’t my #1 priority. BTW, did I mention that I completely forgot to bring snack to practice?? AAGGGH!!! All of the stress carried over and I didn’t sleep well at all. Ever had one of those nights, you wake up thinking it’s almost time to get up. Look at the clock and BAM! its 3 o’clock in the morning. And if you’re like me, getting back to sleep is easier said than done. I think I got about an hour more sleep. This week isn’t going to slow down either. Come hell or high water, I’m going to work out today. DAGGUMIT!!
