Ok so i haven't weighed in and to be honest its all kinda i dunno my head is going crazy, its the night before i leave for norway and i found a lump downstairs and now i just don't know what to do i can't get to see a Dr for a week, i'm going to spend a week with my boyfriend and i reckon its just going to ruin the whole week i don't know what it is and im craving sweets and i havnt even packed yet and i just dont know what im doing.

You probably just have an abcess. Look it up in WebMD. You want a hot compress (soak a washcloth in hot water or do a sitz bath), but if you can make it to an urgent care before you leave, they can give you some antibiotics for it so it doesn't get worse on your trip.

if its an abcess is it ok that its like hard and very close to the actual opening, i dont think i can see anyone before i leave.

It is probably then a barthland's gland abcess. Do get it checked out before you leave or you will be terribly miserable through your whole trip and good luck finding an urgent care in Norway. I must insist that you go to an urgent care and get it either drained or get antibiotics. I have had 2 barthands gland cysts and 1 abcess down there and I can tell you you are going to want it looked at before the end of the week.

Had one there before, scared to death, I was small and hard, and it went away on its on, doesn't hurt does it? ITS JUST THERE!!! That is the problem?eh? Put a warm compress on it, take a warm bubble bath, YOU will be fine.ITS just a scarey thing i know. HAVE A FUN time with the boyfriend,and deal with it when you come back home, hugs to ya my buddy.

If it doesn't hurt it might be fine for a week, but do you want to take that chance? You also will want to avoid irritating it. (If you know what I mean, I don't know how involved you are with your bf so I hope I'm not offending) If it does hurt or if it is tender it may not go away on it's own.
