Thankfulness Journal Day 3. Though I've been losing a few pounds, here and there, I don't usually take any measurements. Yesterday, while clearing some things from my closet, just on a whim, I decided to measure my neck; strange huh? I know I've lost some inches from my waist, having to buy my pants in a smaller size a few months ago, but I never thought to measure my neck, even though I seemed to be swimming in some of my dress shirts, and other shirts that I wear to work. So, here's the lowdown: I'm thankful that my waist has gone from 54-56 inches, a year ago, depending on which pair of pants I wore on any given day, to 46 inches; and that my neck has gone from 20 inches to 17 inches, for my dress shirts, and going from a 4XL, and sometimes a 5XL, to a 2XL in casual shirts. :-) Losing 3 inches off your neck is a big difference, so I can't even wear those shirts anymore, for fear of looking like a kid trying on his big brother's clothes, and some of those shirts are still in the wrapping I bought them in. LOL I guess I'll be buying that new wardrobe a lot sooner than expected. Oh well, a man's got to do, what a man's got to do! :-)
