Day 5 of a planned 5 day fast
WOOSH! Three pound loss in one day :)
Finally got the biggest drop ever. Also my lowest weight ever. The last time I was 175lbs. I was 3 inches shorter and I was in Jr. High School.
Interesting day yesterday. I was having one of those days where 'nothing was going the way I wanted' and a 'bunch of people came at me at one time' demanding things I could not deliver, and I decided to feel sorry for myself.
Normally this would have been a 1-2 'Bag of Cheetos' moment (300 calories 26 carbs). However, when on a fast I don't break the fast, so I decided to have one of my Keurig flavored coffees (70 calories 11 carbs).
After I drank it, I was really upset at myself because Thursday is normally my biggest weight loss day (it is day 4 of my fast - this is why I always say that, for me, fasting less than 3 days is like having s#x without an org##m :))
Anyway, I went into Fat Secret to put in the calories and carbs (the carbs are the problem, I was suppose to be <5 for the day). My carbs were up to 27 carbs! Now I was really upset. Then I saw that most of those carbs were from what I 'planned' to drink later that night. So all I had to do was delete that and then I was back to 12 carbs. Yay!
I get home and check my glucose level and I was down to 73 (yay!). I get on the scale and I was 176lbs. I have had my weight go up overnight before so I took that with a 'grain of salt' (water water everywhere!).
My goal this weekend is <20 carbs. I hope to not gain any weight this weekend but I will not be surprised if my body decides to rebel for another month no matter what I do.
