What was meant to be a cheat day for my daughters bday party turned to a whole weekend. But come Monday we started our diet like normal. I am sure sugar has quite a bit to do with my energy issues now. After 3 days of practice we eating two pieces of cake a day, I felt like a zombie on Monday. Today I feel much better. I need to find ways to add sweets to my diet, so I don't feel like binging so badly again.

I've had those weekends. I definitely understand the Monday crash too. For me, I've been eating more fruits and veggies and less junk and have found that I don't crave the sweets as much. I even have cravings for the good stuff now. You'll find what works for you, just keep moving forward with you healthy eating plan.

have you ever looked into paleo desert idea's?? they tend to have some seriously good deserts which have more non processed ingredients in it and may be a better choice for you. I am on the keto diet and definitely partake in fat bombs and other recipes that give me more choices within my diet. I don't have to be deprived of some of my favorite things, just modify them. I bet you could find some healthy idea's. whole food groups may have some too, I have not looked at those.
