Lotus's Journal, 21 February 2008

What?? the scale was up almost another whole pound..I don't understand, I've been doing good. I 'm not recording it, I will take it easy on salt and fat today, and just reduce calories and do some cardio and see what happens tommorrow. Not exercising like I was is killing me! I did boxing and weight training yesterday though, I don't get it. I am feeling a little better so I am going to try to work out as much as possible. Here's hoping..:(

when i had salt couple weeks ago..my weight went up 4 pounds..so i no longer eat lean cuisines, and i watch my salt intake closer..i no longer use a salt shaker..less its imaginary..lol..drink more water to flush it all out..and keep it movin...

Thanks..I did have soup yesterday, which has a lot of salt, and I snacked on cereal(measured) later at night so maybe i shouldn't have eaten so late. Still I was within my calories so this does not make me happy. I'm getting frustrated with the ups and downs.

If you google "why the scale lies", it will give some explanations on why our bodies go up and down alot. Our weight can change from hour to hour. I can gain up to 5 lbs around that time of the month. It's the loss over a period of time that counts. Good luck!

Don't panic - it'll just be residual water retention. It is horrid when the scales are so mean to us, but just stay focussed and you'll be back down again headed to the 120s in no time! :)

so much for doing a ton today..I ate about the same amount and exercised the same. oh freakin well! I did eat less fat but I don't know about salt, it seems to be in absolutely everything. According to my book at 1465 calories a day I should be able to reach 125 so i don't know why the scale is messing with me!

the scale can be such a nemesis at times! I hope it starts showing some friendlier results soon!
