Well, I've been on this diet for 5 days now. I've noticed that my clothes are much looser and my tummy is looking slimmer. I wanted to weight myself on Monday the 6th but I just couldn't wait. I haven't been this low in months! I'm just so excited. I do work out 4 days a week...I'm committed to that...and sometimes I feel a little weak from the lack of carbs, but I just eat a little low fat string cheese and some celery and I feel much better. I know I'll get back to my fighting weight without much sacrifice.
Today I'm off to see one of the new Bourne movies..I forget the name and then dinner with my sister and her husband. They were on the diet (they're on Phase III now) so I know they'll be sensitive to what I need to eat for dinner. Now that I'm down so much, its a great motivator to continue not to eat anything thats going to kill my diet. But, honestly, I'm not looking at this as a diet per se... but more of a lifestyle. I know that sounds cliche, but thats the way I feel right now. I'm looking forward to Phase II where I can add a couple more things to my menu and not gain. I do miss fruit...and there are strawberries with my name on it after Phase I.
Well, I'm off to shower and get ready for my day....

Saw the Bourne movie..excellent! We then went out for dinner at a wonderful Chinese restaurant. This is one of the great restaurants that will fix you a meal if you ask for special ingredients. I just wanted something light like stir fry with no msg...Well they didn't disappoint. I didn't have any rice or alcohol...so I feel I'm still on track. I'm home now relaxing looking forward to having breakfast with my daughter and her old roommate tomorrow.
