So, today I was going to go walking for the first time in days. I've been 'resting' my foot. Well, last night, I was hanging out in the a/c in my bedroom playing with my laptop. The room had grown dark and I decided to go out with the laptop and fold some clothing. Well, I failed to put on a light and promptly fell over and onto the mini trampoline smack dab in the middle of my room! OUCH! I've seriously bruised the top of the left foot that was hurting to begin with, my right knee, right foot and have a very huge hard bruise on my right thigh.... just call me Grace!

if the pain is real bad alternating hot and ice is supposed to be good. I leave my mini standing up against the wall because I have hit it so many times in the dark I cant even count. I was told that Exercise will work out a bruise and soreness faster than resting but I think the person was somewhat sadistic.

That sucks. Two years ago I had a hairline fracture in my side leg bone (angelnurse must know the name of the bone) down by the shin... anyway I was off of it for 6 weeks and the first day I went walking with a friend I stepped into a rabbit hole and twisted my ankle... guess what 6 more weeks of resting it and Then the first day back again I went for a walk with my husband around the block and my foot hit the edge of the sidewalk and rolled into a 4" drop.. There I laid one block away from my house cusing at the top of my lungs so all the neighbors could hear me (embarrasing to say the least) I could not stand on that leg for almost a year with out pain let alone do any exersize on it. My husband left me laying there went home and got the car... some of the neighbors must have thought he kicked me or pushed me I was so mad (at myself) I was just so mad that I fell and hurt myself again!. I have since gone to the EYE DOCTOR AND NOW WEAR GLASSES. And I have stopped looking at the birds and the bees and the sky while I walk and pay attention to where my feet are going. So GRACE I can feel your frustration cause I know you love your walks and you miss them. Heal Soon. Chris
