LSG417's Journal, 29 June 2018

Finally had a much needed girl's night tonight. Ate too much, had 2 glasses of wine and split dessert and still had to bring half of my half home, lol. Walked around Biltmore Park (it's like it's own little town within the city of Asheville/Arden, with condos, restaurants, shops, movie theater, YMCA and lots of other things to do), then stopped in Charming Charlie's and scored an absolutely adorable dress and blouse on clearance for $10 each. Found a cute lavender clutch and some new earrings too. I haven't shopped for myself like that in years. Was nice to be able to buy some cute clothes in a smaller size and not be afraid to buy something with spaghetti straps and bare my shoulders/back again. Will probably fast tomorrow for as long as I can (with the exception of my coffee!) to make up for tonight's indulgence, get a workout in then get my front porch cleaned up and presentable along with some other chores that need to be done. Hubby is camping with the youngest son and the oldest is at my parents' for the night, so I'm enjoying the rare peace and quiet (except for my cats) before hitting the sheets for the night.
