I was speaking specifically about insulin. Perhaps you had a different hormone in mind!?

I know the frustration...
are you weighing your food? Because I did find out I was over or under eating on my portions.
Hope you get your big drop soon! Stick with it.
I am just getting back into the keto WOE after a long break, but I know having a carb up day always helped me lose in a few days.

PHIL LOL TOO FUNNY! I posted I had both ovaries removed and that's when I gained weight, didn't have right meds, now all good 👍 yes insulin! Little devil hormone! Only way to fix that is IF and Keto. I'm on my way! Thanks, sorry for misunderstanding

Try joining the Facebook group “common sense keto” just to read their pinned posts. They have a very interesting theory about calories and what to eat while following keto. They are very strict but people have success with it. I don’t follow their guidelines but aspire to because I think it makes sense. I did raise my calories and fat intake and lower my carbs (20 total) after reading it and my weight dropped quite a bit. I haven’t stuck with it but should again.
Good luck! Hormone regulation is a huge benefit for me as well with keto.

You gotta wait one to two months before you see that big of a change with Keto. Your body needs time to make the switch. Once it finally settles into the new habit (every body takes different lengths of time) then it’ll start burning the fat your body’s been storing. Just be patient :) took my ex 3 months before he started seeing results

plus you just started to drop your calories down, it takes a while before you get enough under your calories to get that drop.

Thanks baskington, it's not all about the weight. I have bad autoimmune symptoms I am trying to eliminate, how much weight have you lost?
