Need help - please and thank you! Feeling frustrated but challenged - challenge is good but it's taxing my brain and taking me away from other things I love and need to do... I need more KETO recipes that are easy to enter here... I am queen of the kitchen, and I LOVE to cook - with tons of flavour, but I'm finding it challenging to enter recipes here. I hope to get it eventually, and I believe in the value of logging 100%, but if it's too much of a challenge (time consuming) to log I know I'll give it up. I know learning anything new is time consuming and takes effort - I just need easy, tasty, fast to log KETO recipes and I am not supposed to eat a lot of eggs 8-( If everyone on LCHF who reads this could point out one KETO recipe on here I would Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Also, wondering if not needing my full macro limits is a bad thing. The last couple of days I've tried to force myself to get in enough of everything. I'm guessing - and hoping I'm right that as long as I keep to the balance F/NC/P %'s I'll be good?

Roasting broccoli, cauliflower or cabbage with bacon is a great way to get in fats. Save the bacon grease and use it for cooking also. Very simple but good flavor. I also buy pork belly and make that. More fat and less protein. I make chicken thighs and legs and pan "fry" them with butter or bacon grease. Add whatever seasoning you like. I love to cook as well but have found that going more simply is easier with Keto. Also, it's ok to go under on carbs and protein in a day, but always try to get your full fat macros in. That's also what'll help keep you full and not hungry :-). Good luck!!

I also make homemade Boursin. 1 stick of butter mixed with 8 ounces of cream cheese. Then add any seasonings to it, dill, Italian, garlic, onion, sea salt, etc. it's great on meats like burgers, steaks, liver, chicken. It's easy and saves quite long in the fridge.

Thank you @jenniferl12003 - That's exactly what I need - more ideas. I get bored with the same foods over and over - that Boursin sounds great - will put that on my Salmon tonight and Asparagus tonight! Have a great day 8-)

In the past have used my own body fat as my fat source, instead of adding extra fats, or fat macros, seemed to work for me, the end result was fat was still being used up, just not added !!! Sometimes you need to experiment and see what works for you !!! There are several sites on line that have Keto friendly recipes I use spicey pork rids ( ground up) for a batter for fish and pork chops

I’ve done the pork rind “breading” before, it’s delicious! Also shredded cheddar cheese melted over spicy pork rinds for spicy nachos!
