aaargh

So frustrating that I didn't read labels better!

Got Amy's organic lentil soup, cooked it, then noticed the white pieces--potatoes.

Damn

Checked the Progresso Split Pea soup

ham

sigh

ate a can of beans for dinner :(

Who has 3 hours to spend at the grocery store?

It is frutrating, but no worries....it will get easier...you can still eat the stuff, just pick the not allowed stuff out..hang in there, you are doing so good!

I just bought bags and bags of different beans and put garlic, stewed tomatoes, onion and seasonings in them and that way I didn't have to worry about the added stuff I can't have. Plus you have tons left for leftovers to freeze or eat for the rest of the week, since that's about the only thing we can have that fills me up...lol. Hang in there. I had to take a week off cuz I had some other stuff going on. It is hard to have to look at all the labels while you're shopping and cooking different meals for the rest of your family, but it gets easier.
