I've turned into Scrooge McDuck! Just as he counts his coins with an almost maniacal glint in his eye, I too find myself counting every day... calories, that is.

I begin each morning planning my day, and I always leave wiggle room to add something to a meal or as a snack. It even allows me to say yes to samples when I shop. I love samples with their built-in portion control. Don't you?

But how do I get rid of these sprouting feathers? And (yikes) I'm developing an annoying cackle that sounds like a duck.
