I ran 5 miles and walked 15k, and only ate 900 calories. The only reason the scale did not go up is that I kept my carbs below 100. I still have a big calorie deficit (my run alone burned all the calories I ate yesterday), but my glycogen stores have gone up in the past two days of eating, and the required water retention with them, so I am happy the scale did not go up :)
I wish my fast was starting on Monday but it wont start until Wednesday! The reason is that my mother has a memorial day BBQ on Monday that I want to fully participate in :) And I am going to see Deadpool on Tuesday and I like to eat popcorn when watching a movie. However, I have found the perfect replacement for popcorn (for the movie): toasted coconut shavings with Splenda https://bit.ly/2KXQo4I

@MillaLite - Thank You! I am seriously considering trying a 7 day fast the following week. Finally have an entire week without any "events" :) On Wednesday I expect to be back up to 190 so by Friday the best I can hope for is to be right back to where I am right now (188). For me, to lose weight I need to fast 4+ days at a time. The reason is that when I eat, I eat carbs. The water they bring makes the scale go up blah blah blah...

I'm glad to hear you are having social events and you are willing to enjoy them.
I understand the carb water retention, in my case happens when I have over 60 -70 grams a day which is low and I love pasta and rice.
Good luck if you decide to do the fasts .
