yesterday i had nice dinner with hubbie in wok-restaurant. ever heard of that? it is a chinese-buffet restaurant where you scoop up all the chinese thingy's you like but in small quantities. that way you can have all different flavours for one price, instead of a plate full of the same... then you go to the chef with your raw foods, and he bakes (woks) the stuff on the spot for you, how fresh do you want it to be???
neadless to say i over-ate a little specially since the deserts where served in the same matter ;)
ok, holiday here in holland, bountyfull weather (lots of rain, good for crops) and my son is out with his grandmother untill saterday, so lets live it up!!!

We have a thing in the US called "Mongolian Grill" - basically, a long refrigerated table with meat, veggies and noodles that you can scoop into a bowl (whatever you like), top with a bunch of sauces, then hand to a chef working around a massive flat-top grill the size of a table. It is delicious, low-fat and low-calorie. Have a wonderful time without the little guy!

Yep, I thought of the same restaurant as Heidi - I've only been there once, but it was good!! I don't really remember there being desserts there though.. hmm.. bummer! Glad you enjoyed it anyway - send us some rain in Minnesota!! ;) Enjoy your 'alone time'...
