Had a thought and wanted to record it -
I was cleaning out my car (spring cleaning!) yesterday afternoon, and I found a stray Burger King hashbrown round underneath the seat.
Of course, not thrilled to find food rotting away in my car - but what's scary is that this wasn't rotting. At all. It had hardened, but it was not moldy, stinky, nothing. Mind you I KNOW I haven't had BK hashbrowns since 1/1/18 for sure, and even before I buckled down it had probably been a few weeks before that. So pushing three months old easily???
While gross, it was a nice reminder of how far I've come. Last year at the height of my fast food addiction, I was getting a Burger King #9 (or 11, it changed, I ordered it so many times, I know) 2 mini breakfast burritos, small hashbrown and a medium mocha iced coffee (essentially chocolate milk) almost every day. EVERY DAY. I wasted so much money. I must have ate so many calories, carbs, preservatives! I know I'm only 2 months into breaking my addiction, but this time I truly feel like I have a hold on it. And it's awesome.
