I need to do better. I hear the voice in my head when I crave something tell me it’s too late to eat that or it’s high in carbs and you already had your high carb day but then a smaller voice just says just this once and I give in. I don’t know why I give in to the smaller voice but obviously it isn’t just once cause I’m way over where I should be.
150.2 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 12.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

It’s the food addict noise you hear. I have it too. Same as an alcoholic or drug addict only with food. Hard to redirect but sometimes taking a walk or, when i was younger, going to the gym or meeting a friend will redirect. Also, i will sometimes drink 8 ounces of water which is hard for me to do all at once and that usually helps a bit. I understand that feeling. Good news for you tho is you are very very close to your goal.

Thanks yearofhealth. I don’t know why but labeling the voice seems comforting. I don’t feel close TJ my goal at all. It feels like it’s miles away.

Well i will share something with you p$m. I call that voice THE FAT KID. I also reference the fat kid when my trainer gives me something i dont want to do or that is new and difficult. I will tell her the fat kid is trying to keep me down 😀. Just take it 5 pounds at a time or even 2. I weighed daily and when i got stuck i would walk twice a day instead of once or restrict more calories. Im not telling you to do that it’s just what i did. If you only have 12 pounds to go it is going to be slower going. The body likes to hold on to that last bit of chub. Your goal is literally 2 months away. Maybe 10 weeks. You can do this. Tomorrow is a new day. Get up with vigor. Drink loads of water and exercise in some form and log it all. Day one down. I have faith in you.

Agree with YOH, listen to the louder voice that is telling you No! Try to eat a protein as it helps curb the chocolate cravings.

I've never regretted resisting a treat the next day.

Your body will never be satisfied until it gets enough protein and fat. Increase those and you’ll be amazed how the cravings subside.

When my small voice says that I say shut up gorda! I’ve got goals to reach” and I thank my inner skinny girl for the good advice. And chomp on some veggies or fruit. If I’m really hungry I’ll want it if I’m not then the fruit and veggie won’t even be appetizing. It’s been a practice I’ve been implementing for the last 15 lb loss, and it works. Weight loss isn’t only about foods you eat but retaining your mind from overeating. If you eat like a skinny person eventually you will become thinner.
