losing 4.2 lb a week

It never ends but the better news is you could just weigh once a week. It alleviates all the stress of constantly looking at .1 gain, .3 loss, .2 gain, .5 loss. IMO weighing every day is the worst thing anyone on here can do. I use to do it and it hurt me more than helped me. Weigh once a week and live life. Habit and discipline will keep you where you need to be. Not constantly checking a scale. Body fluctuates every day for a million reasons.

Once a week is worse because I don’t know if I’m have an up day or a down day and with the peri menopause hormones it can vary widely from week to week. At least when I gain 7 lbs in two days I know it’s not real. If I waited a week I wouldn’t know how much of that was real or how much was just water.

It's honestly one in the same. You're saying if it's real or fake. Whether it's real or fake checking every day or checking once a week is the same ending. Obviously the next week [checking once a week] if you gained another 7 lbs you would know ok something isn't right? Then you'd change your methods moving forward. Checking every day has ruined so many people. It's a mental anguish of every day letting a scale dictate your day. I was told by someone at the gym who's a pretty knowledgeable guy. That on any given day [especially women] the body could gain like 4 to 12 lbs ish. So if that happens on say a Tuesday. Everyone would freak out omg what am I going to do? Next day you could be down 3 lbs from the original weight. Anyways.... I'm rambling🤣Continue to check every day if you just have to know you went up .2 today or you've lost .4 tomorrow.
