I seem to be stuck in a +3/-3 range for the last few weeks. I know my eating hasn't been the greatest so I guess I'm glad it's not going up too much but it's so hard to fight the cravings! I really need to look more into low cal/carb alternatives to pizza, Chinese etc!
370.2 lb Lost so far: 30.5 lb.    Still to go: 10.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I feel ya! Pizza is my downfall and my partner orders it all the time 😬 I do order thin crust now and that cuts down on calories.

People in a calorie deficit often under consume protein. I don’t know if that applies to you or not. But if it does, studies show starting the day with a good hit of protein (30+ grams) in your breakfast will help stave cravings throughout the day. Even better if you can include a good bit of protein with each meal. Other studies also show similar results when comparing a low fat diet to a low carb diet when protein and calories are controlled for. Just thought I’d mention that in case low carb is a craving trigger for you. If it is, you may want to switch to a lower fat, moderate carb plan. In any case, best of luck with your journey.

Your comment is accurate for me anyways about protein. As of yesterday starting off with a protein bar or shake - I’ve been successful with this in the past so here it goes…!

My Dad in his later yrs always started his day with 1/2 English Muffin, toasted and buttered with real butter, and topped with 1-2 eggs, 1 slice of cheese and 1 sausage round. He always found that his lunchtime kept being pushed back because he still wasn't hungry. Protein at the beginning of any day is a good thing for the body.

Try having your pizza on pablano peppers instead of crust!

Pizza and Chinese are my downfalls, too. I've started making my own flatbread (I can add my own toppings like turkey pepperoni, roasted red pepper, Boccancini, etc) or picking up finished flatbread in the grocery store instead of pizza. I really like Sobey's 'pear and arugula'. Just remember, half is a serving. Instead of Chinese, I have Dim Sum. Mostly steamed varieties. Satisfies the craving with less fat and carbs. Keep counting those calories, and it will eventually fall into place. We're all here for you. You've Got This! 💪💪

I find water helpful.. especially in the evenings. it has to be right by my side though, cuz if I have to go to the fridge where the food is I'm sure to look for snacks. 😏 Maybe u already drink plenty though, idk.. I didnt check your stats or anything before commenting, lol.
