My weight appears to be heading down again. I'm glad. I had an incident with my blood sugar level Sunday morning. My blood sugar was 225 on the monitor, so I took my metformin and didn't eat any carbs. By the time 11:30 rolled around, I was weak. I had low blood sugar. I was given half teaspoon sugar under my tongue and half a cup of punch. I checked my blood sugar when I got home, and it was 178. Mom said it was definitely low blood sugar. On that note, can someone recommend a good glucose monitor that won't break the bank? I think mine registers too high.
