I am running really late today. I have a bank appointment in less than an hour and I haven't showered or shaved yet, then I have to be in the Buff by noon for a meeting and have an engagement in NF after that. I know I need to get my butt in gear but I am just so tired today I didn't even read the morning news today. Well, I hope I will catch up with all of you later today, my FS friends.

Hahah! I had to decide Buff must be a location and not a state of being?? Sounds like quite a day even so. 😁

Yes, Buff is Buffalo. It's the airport abbreviation. Even the radio stations, when they refer to the weather will say, it's 80 in the Buff today, so I guess the phrase just grows on us, melissatwa.

lol, it's funny, we use the phrase here often - when we say we have a meeting in the Buff, we're saying we have a meeting in downtown Buffalo. It's one of those local phrases you'll hear us use up here in Western NY. And, if you haven't figured it out by now, NF is Niagara Falls or it could be the Niagara Frontier but most of the time it's the city proper. Mystery solved - lol -( Note to self - don't use local slang}

That is fun, Jim! Learn something new daily! Here in Seattle we say, "The mountain is out." We are referring to the weather when we aren't covered in clouds and Mt Rainer is actually visible. Local stuff! It seems you survived your day! 😁
