Leafdragons's Journal, 21 July 2021

Finally I am down to what I was 2 ¼ years ago when I started Noom. I lost a little over 45 pounds on that program, but it didn’t reset my metabolic rate. When an old foot injury came back and I couldn’t walk 10,000 steps a day, the weight came back by leaps and bounds. Not to mention that I was hungry most of the time on the program. Noom didn’t take into account insulin by not discouraging snacking and some other things. So it feels good to be back at square one🥳
235.2 lb Lost so far: 9.8 lb.    Still to go: 80.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think you are doing great and I don’t know if you know this but on YouTube if you type walk the pounds away .You can walk at home stop and pause it.It’s helped me out because some days it’s pouring here.Also it’s kind of fun.They have a family video too.I hope you realize you help inspire me with you dedication.

@Sarahbear87 I am glad I can be an inspiration, I just keep going… sometimes better than other times. Diet modification is a big challenge for me and takes a few weeks or more to make the change. I was extremely frustrated when the weight just piled back on, so it took awhile to get over that. But, it was time and I am feeling a lot better. I really like your suggestion of walking at home. I’ll check the videos out, they sound like something I would enjoy.
