A little bit of a whoosh there. A couple of days of exhausting work, a day of naps and emotional turmoil..and loads of support from my FS family. Thanks y'all!

Thanks guys! I'll be fasting until my lunch date (making it 26 hours), then going to Jim N Nick's BBQ restaurant. I already scoped out the menu, so I'll be having a chopped salad with smoked chicken. Back to work for a quick color and cut on a client, and then a massage for me! It's a VERY good day!

Add the bonus of it being an "I FEEL smaller" day. Yasssssss! OMG, the salad was exquisite. The smoked chicken was tender, juicy, smoky, and everything you'd want in a perfect smoked chicken. The salad had lots of different greens, tons of their house-smoked bacon, pickled yellow peppers, pecans and grape tomatoes. The only things in it I wouldn't eat were sweet corn, that had clearly been just cut off the cob because the kernels were in 'planks', and croutons made from their famous cheese-cornbread. Every now and then, I'd get a very sweet taste in a bite, and after hunting, discovered that it was, in fact, a stray kernel of the corn. WOW..am I sugar sensitive! So, I ate maybe 5-10 kernels of sweet corn.
The conversation was centered mostly around video links I had sent him about the Keto WOE. He's very interested, because of his being diabetic. He was very attentive and affectionate. Still not sure how I feel about moving forward. But, now that my BF(not)F has slammed the door, I would like to see how the friendship goes. And the massage at the end of the day was heavenly!! The bonus is that she's our in-house therapist where I work, so I only pay 50% of the normal rate. It was a very good day.
