WARNING: This journal entry is a little whiny, but it all ends well towards the end. Not to worry. :) I woke up at 1AM, it's now almost 4AM and I haven't slept. My weight is all out of whack, and I was so thirsty that I decided to just weigh in super early and get it over with. Of course, that means that it's not a correct weigh-in, and it shows. Oh well. It'll be better later on, I'm sure. I feel tired, but not sleepy, bloated, stomach hurting, and frustrated with the weigh-in. I gotta be honest, this yo-yo weight is getting tedious again. I know I am doing good, my OTHER numbers are amazing, but the weight just won't come down. I don't see it as a new plateau or anything, and I know that eventually it will come off, but I am on a schedule here. I am hoping to get under 90 kgs by October 4th, which is my 1 year anniversary on losing weight, and it would be AWESOME to reach one extra little goal before then. However, as the days seem to just zoom by with me fluctuating, it gets less and less likely to happen. Oh well. My original goal for one year was to lose 45 kgs, and it was very brave of me to set the bar that high (or is it low?). Today, I have lost more than 60, and the year is not gone yet. I know I shouldn't be complaining, but I get ambitious and I want to do this! :) Anyways, my fat percentage is at an all time low because of this - I am actually at 14.8%, a number I have NEVER seen before. My visceral fat is at 10. Again, it amazes me. To compare, when I started registering these number a good while back, they were at 32.3 and 18 respectively (this was in April when I weighed 113 kgs - so 25 kgs ago). Much has happened since then. I think it helps to reflect on your progress when you feel that you don't move. At least to me it does. It makes me see that I'm doing right, and to just continue doing what I am doing. I see the fat percentage go down, and that is what matters. I'm not too worried about the other things, water retention etc. I want the fat gone. The water retention I can worry about when I know there is no fat to lose. :) On a MUCH more positive note: I had a call from my music pusher. My super-duper weigh-loss reward is in, and is being shipped to me TODAY! So this means that I will be able to pick it up at my local post office Monday or Tuesday. Oh, how I am looking forward to this. As a musician, having one of the best instruments out there makes a HUGE difference. I can not wait! :) Tonight, it's rehearsal time with the band as always. Too bad I can't bring my new bass to show off, but that's okay. I was told it would be delivered in November(!), so I guess I shouldn't complain, huh? Tomorrow, I'll have plenty of exercise, wife and I are going to Copenhagen to do some shopping, have a "date-night", go have a fancy dinner - it IS spike day, after all - and go to the movies. It'll be a great day. SO looking forward to it. I need a day away from the usual humdrum. Guess what, folks! Life IS good! Have a great weekend, everyone! I hope you made it to end end of this long posting. I enjoy writing them, and I hope you guys enjoy reading them. If you DID make it to the end, do me a favor and put a comment wishing me a great weekend. That automatically gives you a great weekend too! :)
