hi, how diligently are you tracking your calorie intake?

Keep working at it! The fact that you’re still doing and working is a success.

I'm sorry you're gaining. It must me so nerve wrecking. You've had your blood work done so let'smove on to diet. Do you weigh your food? Have you given up processed food? You gave up gluten, glad you're feeling a little better. May i suggest low carb , watch some Dr Berry videos on YouTube i know he's got some on hagimotos sp? His wife has it. Log everything if you can . Eat beef, fish, chicken. With veggies as sides if you want and you'll loose.

I pretty much eat the same thing every day, dinners varying. I think the snacks and wine are the issue. Plus I’m always exhausted and running around. I count calories when I remember, but I’m not religious about it; doing it for so many years of my life makes me not want to even bother. I don’t weight anything, I just measure.

I hear ya. I counted for years, the struggle is real. When i went carnivore mostly, i was so freed not counting. I ate all the meat eggs , beef chicken i wanted and no junk and finally I don't need to count! I do count now to try to figure out why I'm no losing or why I'm gaining. Maybe try to just log everything for a few weeks to see what's doing you in. It's something. It's either food or hormonal thyroid stuff. I hope you can figure it out. That's really what the app is for. I'mKnow you're not a slave to the app,

You know what can help if you're very busy and don't have time to manage out what your real intake is? Just use a side plate for your dinner, you will have the amount you eat overnight, and also only put whole foods on that plate, so nothing processed or deepfried. You fill the plate as much as you want, and you never have any seconds unless you wait 25 minutes before you have any more, If you do this and eat mindfully and slowly, you will never overeat. Try it!
