good luck! but i’m not sure it’s healthy to lose that much so fast

Can you explain why you're not sure it's healthy to lose that much so fast? 🤔

You got this! 2lbs a week is a lot but relatively safe. I lost 120lbs in about 8 months, THAT was probably unhealthy, but I’m happy I did because I’ve kept it off!

That's fantastic, Darc, great job! Contrary to what idktbh posted, here's nothing "unhealthy" about rapid weight loss that's just one of those things people accept as true because it's often repeated. I'd like to lose thirty pounds in around three months, that's absolutely attainable, but even if didn't make my goal, it would still be just that, a goal, definitely not something for anyone to light their hair on fire about.

@philrmcknight rapid weight loss can lead to nutrient deficiencies, muscle loss rather than fat loss, mental health issues, metabolism issues and also if you loose it fast it’s likely you will gain it again. check the articles from healthline.com and https://www.activesgcircle.gov.sg/activehealth/read/nutrition/5-alarming-dangers-of-extreme-weight-loss-you-cant-afford-to-ignore

@Idktbh Drinking water can lead to all the things you're saying, too. If you replace junk food with whole foods and lose a bunch of weight real fast all the markers you mention will only improve. Quit repeating diet-woo, and don't bother sharing articles with me, I'm not interested in disinformation from people I haven't curated.

35,000 kCal deficit per month, or around 1050-1100 deficit per day.
Stay on your feet as much as possible, find foods that work for you, and don't starve yourself.
There are so many satiating options out there!
You can do this!
