Did something this morning that I've never done before.. gone to the gym before work! That means I had to wake up and get my butt out the door at 5:30. I only did about a half hour of light cardio because I didn't want to kill myself first thing in the morning, especially since I've never done it before, but I did it! I actually wanted to get a pedicure today, but I really cant justify just getting a pedicure for the sake of getting a pedicure. So I told myself if I can drag my butt out of bed to go to the gym early, I can get a pedicure after work. Win win situation!
Also, the other day I took my first Pilates reformer class. I actually give massages out of a Pilates studio so I get reduced price classes. I absolutely loved it. I was actually surprised how great of a workout it was. It kicked my butt, hard. I can't tell if I'm just out of shape or if it was really just that awesome of a workout. I'm gonna go back tomorrow afternoon for another class. I'm hoping to do it at least 1-2x a week.
Hope everyone is having a great day!

I often go to a circuit training group class at 5:30 a.m. on Wednesday morning... I have to leave the house at 4:30 a.m. to get there for it... it's a PAIN, but "generally"... I feel much better after I do workout at that time... Good luck with the early workouts... it CAN be worth the extra effort. =)

I figure if I can go in the morning and get it out of the way, I wont have to worry so much about being too tired to work out after work (which happens a little too frequently haha).

Kudos to you!!! I used to work out in the morning, but as of late, just started back working out and doing in the evening - 30 minutes. Keep up the good work -- mornings are the better time for me normally to work out -- usually it's awesome and it's done for the day!

Good for you! If I don't go right away in the AM I tend to not go at all!

That has definitely been my main problem lately.. its nice thinking I get to just go home later and relax and not have to go to the gym.

I always do my walks in the morning, except Sundays. If I walk Sunday afternoon I find I'm way more tired and can't walk as long.
