~156 is where I'd like to stabilize. Weekends are making it hard to stay regular.

Agreed! Weekends are difficult to stay fully on program.

Thankfully, when not trying to lose, you can nicely afford a couple higher cal days and still maintain when following them up with a couple lower cal days! 😁 Averaging the weekly calories works for longterm stability and sustainably for most!

Haha @Diana 1234. I'm retired too - I keep my eating to a schedule. I can see where weekend parties or eating out can be problems for some, or is it freedom from the work schedule equals complete freedom from all structure? Many people comment here how the weekend tripped them up.

@trackin64, it's mostly the change in environment. During the week, I can easily decide and measure what and how I eat. During weekends, I often eat with friends with plenty of factors I can't easily control. When I'm a guest and my host says: "I stacked up on our cooked these things that you like", I can't really refuse. Instead, I set up my mind to enjoy the kind attention.
