gotta work on my fat intake some to get off my 'plateau', otherwise a solid prescription.

I would suggest not going too long on a no fat program. Weight Watchers had a diet like that and had to revamp it when a large number of followers got gallstones and had to have their gallbladders removed.

Thanks for the warnings. I should have written low fat. It's pretty hard to get no fat at all and I realize we need some to function. Culturally, it's impossible to completely stay off cheese and cream, so I'm safe ☺️🇨🇵

I can't do high fat. if I get much over 90g a day I start getting bad heart burn. but I think .5g per lb of body weight is what's recommended for males to maintain healthy hormone balance, and that amount is pretty easy to hit for most people.

@rickstewart: Trick for heartburn: eat raw celery. It works amazingly well and if one stalk isn't enough, have another! Another effective solution is to drink a teaspoon of Apple cider vinegar in 8 oz of water.

80g of fat for 160lbs body?! I am averaging 23g/day at the moment (49g carbs, 32g protein, 516 kcal total). Looks like I have margins...

It may had been per kg of body weight.. I can't remember. But if you're only eating 500cal a day then it's gonna hard to hit anything close to the .5g per kg or lb, or any recommended macro amount at that....
