Feeling really good...down 1 lb. even tho i added more cal. to my daily intake which i was a bit nervous about doing. It seems my metabolism was in starvation mode...hopefully not anymore!!!

Have to lay off the exercise for a bit...I seem to have injured my iliotibia (sp?) band and have to go to phys. therapy. But hopefully after 6-8 visits I'll be feeling better.
141.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 11.0 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

1334 kcal Fat: 19.85g | Prot: 88.33g | Carb: 216.04g.   Breakfast: raw fiber, banana, fiber one bread. Lunch: brown rice, beef stirfry, yoplait yogurt. Dinner: whole wheat italian bread, Rotini, Chicken Cacciatore. Snacks/Other: chobani greek non fat yogurt, blueberries, blackberries, special k cereal bar, banana. more...

Excellent job losing the pound Ali. I too was surprised this morning by a not insignificant drop after a relatively high calorie day. I had been suspecting that I had been retaining water lately but just ignored it and kept on with my large soups, coffee and the like. Finally, I got a little break and a most welcome psychological boost this morning. Oh no about the leg. iliotibia sounds good to me although Firefox gives me a spelling error. Wait, I'll check... yes that's right! :-) Anyway I hope that you feel better and try to make the most of the weekend!

Thx Info! It seems like I loose .5 lb then gain 1 lb back, loose 1 lb, then gain .5 back, etc, etc....I can't seem to loose the last 10 lb. it's soooo frustrating...ugh,,,I'll just keep my chin up and hope that the adtl. cal. will spark my metabolism..i also have a sluggish thyroid, am on medication for it, but it's definately a struggle. They say you should subtract -200 cal. per day to loose weight if you have a sluggish thyroid, which is what I did. I'm trying to take in 1200-1300 cal. per day...Ali
