Well I managed to chip off another 1/2 lb over the weekend, despite my hubby making some rather delicious BBQ pork ribs for dinner last night. I did, however, use my scale to make sure I ate 4 oz, and cut away the fatty parts too. I hate fat anyway. So I'm now down to 142.5 lbs, which is what I weighed when we moved into our house about 2 1/2 years ago. I remember we spent nearly a week eating out while getting everything unpacked, which added about 5 lbs. Then we took a vacation to Ireland in June 2018, which added a few more lbs. It's taken me this long to lose those extra lbs. Weight is so easy to gain, & gets more difficult to lose the older we get. But I'm on a roll right now, hopefully I'll chip off a couple more lbs before I hit another plateau. Plateaus are part of the process, and it's important to maintain the loss & not get discouraged & gain it all back. Now THAT is something I've often struggled with! I just need to do better this time....
