I am so glad to have broken through the plateau that I was on. I seem to lose 3 or 4 pounds, plateau for a week or two and then lose 3 or 4 pounds again. I don't understand why it isn't more fluid than that.
I have been adding to my workout. I have been using the Stair Climber type stairmaster. It looks like an escalator that goes down, and you have to walk up it. It's a killer workout. I have been able to do 15 minutes at level 8 (out of 20) and 20 minutes at level 7 (which is 68 stairs a minute). It really get's your heart pumping, I feel like it's about to explode, lol.
I walked up 93 flights of stairs last night and then did an hour on the treadmill...so I spent an hour and 20 minutes on machines last night, which is a lot. Working out seems to be taking over my entire life.
On the weekends, I try to do 2 hours on the treadmill, plus if I can, that stairmaster thing. I wish I could run, if I could run, I would be able to get the same workout done in less time. But I think that will come as I lose weight.
On the positive side, I can fit into size 38 pants, which is a big deal for me. In January, I was wearing a 42; however, my weight doesn't seem to be coming off my stomach first (unfortunately) I am losing weight everywhere else first.
At any rate, it's Pride weekend in New York, although I don't think I am going to the parade this weekend. Maybe next year, when I am thinner...
