Well, Ive strayed from fatsecret for a month or longer but I have been following Weight Watchers the whole time. It wasnt easy. I have a love of good fried and sugary foods that is just so darn hard to get shed of. I have been working on it. I do "silly things" to try to help me. When the family wants fried chicken, I make it for them and bake mine. When they want mashed potatoes with all the cream and butter, I have a dry baked potato. I have nearly the same thing as they do, only a little healther. Most times anyways. Last night they wanted pork chops. They wanted them with sourkraut and I know that that is one of my trigger foods, so I convinced them to let me bake them with pork shake and bake. They were so good. we had just plain boiled potatoes that I put in the oven after boiling with some butter and lots of pepper and just crisped them up a bit. Now those were good. And core so I got my fill of em. Had peas as veggie and apples just cored and baked with cinnamon sugar as fruit. (and desert) I am so glad that I dont cook lots anymore. no leftovers to mucnh on all night. That has helpd me a lot. If I want a nighttime snack now it is cereal and ff milk. Cornflakes or cheerios or some other whole grain cereal.

Sauerkraut is one of your trigger foods? I say that's a good one to have. . . it's so low in points on Weight Watchers! Why not indulge in it?

The sourkraut is good and low in points unless it is with pork chops. That is how I make them. Baked in the oven covered with kraut. Oh so good. I use the leanest pork I can find now and it doesnt taste the same but will do.
