My body does not want to go any lower for some reason...I’ve been hovering around this number or just a little higher for a week or so now. I keep thinking something will give but so far no luck. I was super active yesterday—exercised and then cleaned the house all day. Eating has been good so eventually it has to go down, right? It’s hard to be patient when you’re putting in the effort😁 have a great day everyone!

@momma6224: Glad I could bring some levity into your day. :-) Sometimes it's the best medicine. Or so they say. (Personally, I always liked...well, I'll keep that one to myself.)

HA HA - I am the person who calls the scale the "Idiot Box"

I feel your pain but yes it will go down if you hang in there and keep doing what you are doing.

I past efforts I hit various plateau's and always had to change something up in the plan to get things rolling again. Sometimes it was eating a little more or less of something. Sometimes it was changing the type of exercise/activity. Bottom line is the body seems to find a balance point and you have to force a tip of the scale somewhere to begin to progress again. At least that was my experience. Hang in there, keep trying things until you break through you can do it!

@JLente: Excellent point! I actually reduced my RDI to the lowest exercise level possible -- sedentary. It dropped my RDI from 2300 to 2000. Almost as soon as I did that I noticed movement again. Funny how that works, but it does seem to work, just as you stated. (Raise the bridge -- increase activity/exercise, lower the river -- reduce calories.)

Thanks everyone!! Such great comments and advice. I’ll change things up somehow and try to be patient 🙂

@Momma6224. OK. But could you please hurry up with your patience already?!!! (Obviously...just kidding. Although in college someone once told me I could analyze the beauty out of a flower. She was right. Somewhat related...a metaphor to think about: You look at a rose bush with few flowers and lots of buds. You KNOW that there are beautiful roses contained within those buds. However, if you attempt to rip the buds open, before they're ready to bloom, you will NOT end up with beautiful flowers; you'll just end up with a bunch of bud fragments in your hand. The only thing that will allow you to see the beautiful flowers is patience.)

Well, that. And slamming doors. (My poor dog always looks so scared afterwards. I assure him it's nothing he's done, but I get the feeling he doesn't trust that 100%.) :)
