So today is the first day of the "Run for Abs" diet - maybe I should call it the avacado diet, since they are featured prominently. Anyway, here are my starting stats:
Weight: 146.5 Waist: 32" Hips: 39.75" Thigh: 23" BMI: 26.4 Body Fat: 36.8%
So the goals over the next six weeks are:
1. Lose about 10 lbs 2. Lower the body fat by 2 percent, to get below 35% 3. Increase running speed to 6mph
Today I did a 2-mile run, averaging about 5.2mph, so hopefully that last one isn't asking too much. I've followed the diet plan pretty well, though I have no idea how many calories I've had today. Maybe not too many, as I was REALLY hungry around 5pm. I wouldn't call this diet "low carb," but it's certainly lower carb than I'm used to. I ended up having some popcorn while waiting for dinner. I've had a few strawberries & loads of veggies today, and have managed to hold myself down to ONE Dove chocolate square - just ONE!!! I am rather proud of myself for that one! Anyway, wish me luck & I'll keep you posted.
