So my jazz ensemble has started for the semester, and I hauled out my bigger amp that I bought myself for Christmas, woo hoo!!! Ended up with a backache, though. I can see I need to work on my abs & lower back. Fortunately that book I ordered, "Running for Abs" has finally shipped. I should get it sometime between Feb 1 - 7, which is about a week later than it was supposed to be, grrr. Oh well, such is life. It'll get here. In the meantime, for the past week I've been eating more leftovers for lunch & fewer store-bought TV dinners, also more veggies & I am really feeling it! I've upped my calorie count because I'm clearly not getting anywhere close to the 1300 calories I'd previously set, so raised it to 1500. I think I'll focus on just eating less of the baked sweetie goods like chocolate muffins, and more fruits (& veggies) and protein bars instead. YUM!!!
