No, nothing worthwhile come easy, but you are doing the right thing. Stay strong, and seek help from others that have successfully quit. I quit the hard way, cold turkey, because I had to when I was pregnant. My husband used Nicorette gum.

Hi Joanne! I recently quit smoking as well.... cold turkey (well, I say cold tofu, as I'm vegan;) 7 weeks smoke free today!!!!! Anyhow, I chose to quit after losing 55 pounds, thinking I had this whole weight thing in the bag, then I put on 9 pounds:( That's why I'm here. Anyhow, all I can say is congrats to you for taking on two such allencompassing habits at once.... it IS NOT EASY, but, if you ever want to chat, message me, we can type instead of eat and smoke;) Good luck, and Congrats! ~Dawnn ~Blessed are the flexible for they shall not be bent out of shape~ P.S. Working out works wonders, not only for your body, but for the smoke cravings (not to mention the fact that it's one more hour you didn't smoke).
