I am grateful for paid sick days.

I am grateful that I didn't get a ticket before getting the car moved this morning and for the little run back to the building. It felt good.

I am grateful that my son with Autism Spectrum Disorder finished his 40 page paper on time and also got his acceptance letter into University.

I am grateful that my sons are all good people and embrace good values. That's one less worry for me! I should cross this old worry off the list of worries!

I am grateful that my problem is being mildly overweight and not profoundly hungry.

I am grateful that when I look at my list I can see I have carried burdens for decades that weigh tons and that maybe I can lay them down now.
