After some research on whey protein I found isopure. I've never been able to stomach protein powder, but this one in milk just tastes like chocolate milk! Yum!

Nice Paige. Was it expensive?

A bit on the pricier side, unfortunately. One pound was about $17 dollars, but buying in bulk isn't too bad 7.5 lbs for $90 or so. I started with one pound to see how realistic it was that I'd drink it every day, and how long it lasted. But it does provide 50g protein and 750mg potassium, which are two things I struggle to get enough of!

Does it have a chalky aftertaste? I always had problems finding a good protein powder, but if it's tasty I may try that :)

Isopure is one of the good ones. You can bake with it too (instead of wheat flour and mixed with other alternative flours)

I like chocolate flavour.

It does not have a chalky aftertaste at all to me, tastes like nesquik to me! I was actually looking up baking recipes so its funny you said that, super excited to make high protein dessert/breakfast items. I was hesitant about the chocolate at first because I'm not a big chocolate eater/drinker (it's too rich) but Isopure is light enough with one scoop instead of two that I can handle it :)

I would defiantly reccomend it to people who dont usually drink protein powders or have a hard time stomaching them. I love it!

I also have whey chocolate protein in my cupboard. I use it only if I`m deficient but it tastes pretty good.

Vanilla flavor is good as well :)

I use the Melalueca Proflex 20..vanilla. I add blueberries and or strawberries to give it fruity flavor. I am so glad you found one you like. Makes drinking it sooo much nicer.

@DI N OK I've never had success using a 1:1 replacement. I can only substitute up to 1/4-1/3 , otherwise recipes get rubbery, thin, or crumbly.

I agree with 1chubbybunny- I mix protein powder and almond flour. I can also use a little oat fiber too if there is either something fatty like cheese or butter or something moist like fruit or zucchini.

My protein requirement daily is 165g which I usually naturally get about 100-110, So adding one serving of the powder daily puts me at recommended intake. :)
