So I made a goal of losing 14 lbs by June 30th about 2 weeks ago. I lost 3 lbs the first week, and managed to gain back 2 lbs over the weekend. I spent most of last week re-losing the 2 lbs, and have also lost an additional 1/2 to 3/4 lb. Well okay then. Today I'm starting what I call the "3-day wonder diet," which I've done before, in a effort to lose a few more lbs. It probably fits into the LCHF/IF category, but I call it VLF, as in "very little food." It purports to cause a breakdown in fat due to the chemical makeup of the foods eaten; but in reality it's the 900 calories a day that probably causes the weight loss. So, I do this on Mon, Tue & Wed, then go back to my "normal" 1300 calorie eating plan. Hope this works, 'cause I'm pretty hungry right now!
