Went way over calories yesterday and so many carbs that it would make a cow stop making milk...just been pigging out for some reason. But, I was honestly hungry. I noticed I kelp going towards the carbs and proteins. Gonna have to really watch what I eat today. I hate when I pig out, I tried to tell myself I had enough to stop and remember what my goals are. But, the food won out. No reason to give up, just gotta hop back on that train and learn from these sort of days. No one said it was gonna be easy. I hope everyone is having a wonderful week and enjoy your Friday and weekend!

Ah, a fellow carb and protein lover lol. I honestly don't think carbs and protein are inherently bad. There's at least one camp of folks on here that don't share my sentiment, but I know plenty of thin and fit people who eat nothing but carbs and/or protein. The key seems to be the types you choose. For instance, choosing lean protein and natural carbs over fatty protein and processed carbs. Besides, if your body is used to selecting certain types of foods, it is highly unlikely that you'll stop wanting them (or eating them) overnight. The best thing that worked for me was to start eating smaller and smaller portions of the "bad" foods all while filtering in better alternatives. It has also helped to watch how I pair my food. If I have something high in carbs, then I try to pair it with something low fat. You'll get better with time. Just be patient with yourself and make the best choices you can in each individual moment :)
